$proinged (my new favorite word...thanks John A. !!! ) for a new Air Hauler base here, rather expensive, but looks like plenty of services and space to grow for the price (bout 1/2 mil USD).

Heading out to make some of that back:

Wanted to toss these in as well...returned from a 5 leg haul trip last evening around the Melbourne vicinity, and noticed a Vast difference between Stock FSX Australian night lights and the Night Environment lights (Have California and British Islands so far). Australia, and everywhere frankly needs moar NE.

Thanks for the cool work you're doing Chris Bell...stock FSX at night is flat in comparison. I only really noticed recently since I never really flew at night before, because...yawn. The below shots illustrate why.

Love this little Fokker.

Commenting from my mobile phone because I'm hauling as usual on the desktop.

I noticed something cool about this plane just a few minutes ago... It has a tendency to run away on the ramp. It is very hard to slow down.that's not the cool part, that's the lousy part of most turbo props...ground handling. The cool part is using the mixture lever it is possible to reign that behavior in. I discovered that I can adjust the rolling speed with the mixture lever. with the other turboprops in my fleets the mixture lever seems to be a mostly useless floppy bit that only functions at the very bottom to chop the fuel off. :)

Adding another...this plane keeps teaching me things. I just discovered that if the attitude indicator fails while on autopilot you better be sitting nearby. Fortunately I was as the plane started banking. :) phew. Hand flying the last 50 miles to YPOD Portland Australia.

Nice shots Matt...  Australia is set for me  ( bought FTX Australia at Xmas sales and installed all the OzX additional airstrips and scenery ) My program for next winter is a "Down Under tour" to discover the country where I have never flown yet. Will probably take some six months.

Regarding night flights, I always fly real Z time / real weather, so with my AH company in Europe I fly at night very often and I love it. I have the night lighting from UTX Europe 2.0.

With my canadian company, it's early morning if I fly in the afternoon  and early afternoon when it's evening over here...  I would have to fly in the morning to have night flights. But in the morning I usually sleep late as I go to bed normally between 3 am and 4 am...  :)
