Captain Coffee 2,030
K...YMUI, Murray Island free ORBx scenery. Checked it out in Ol' Reliable: Having a great time! Wish I were Here! (P.S. Looks like I buried my Water Rudders in the sand. In before a Hawkeye points this out to me )
brett 2,316
Now I know what I would wish for on a deserted island. Beautiful spot, thanks for the look see. I won't mention the water rudders but I will mention that it is YMUI. Is that a standalone freeware airport or did it come with another airport scenery?

Captain Coffee 2,030
Brett, thanks for spotting my USecntric Airport Codes...lol. Fixed that. The scenery is part of the set of Aussie freewares available on ORBx's site, I believe they require FTX Oceania region to be installed to work?/work best...not sure if they can "stand-alone". Captain Coffee 2,030
I swear I use FSX sometimes to scout shortcuts for my courier job...in this case, I think I am scouting destinations for when I retire on my sailboat. I was googlemap looking around for small islands to build my bat cav...i mean...retire simply on...and I spotted this lovely crescent island, apparently not permanently inhabited, but occasioned by fisher folk from the nearby island. It doesn't have much arable land, but, for a hydroponic eclectic DIY solar still making nerd like me...looks like my saucer of tea frankly. A sweet little beach, several sides to shelter the boat from storms, and lots of anchorage on nearly all sides. It is definitely ON my cruising list as a place to see how long they will put up with me. :D
