Arriving at Cosford (a week early)!

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I wanted to get the best parking space and be at the front of the queue when the doors open next week so I set off on a flight from Perth EGPT to Cosford EGWC in the Milviz Baron 55. I have had this aircraft for a while now in my hangar but have only just got around to flying it. Hope you enjoy the ride!

Thanks guys, @ Matt, this is a great aircraft and I find it to be the easiest to handle of all my twins. This is the first time I have flown this type, even though I've had it in my hangar for ages but I will definitely be using it for my trips more often now!

The flight model is certified by real B55 pilots and the instruments and controls leave nothing unmodelled except the original autopilot and oxygen system. Thd original autopilot unit has been replaced with a Bendix King set.

Great looking shots Adrian, with the jet stream over Iceland at the moment it look like we are going to get our summer over the next 10 days so looking good for the show!

Apparently there's a dismantled VC10 in the car park outside Hangar 1, not a public exhibition but should be interesting!

See you and the missus Saturday!

Just to wish all who are going to Cosford a safe journey and to have a great day.

Sorry to say I missed it last year and cannot make it this year due to family and other commitments. :(

Give Joe a hug from me. ;)
