For me it's got to be 'The Dam Busters' - I saw it at the Leicester Square Odeon with my Mum and Dad back in the ****ies (no, not forties, you young whipper-snappers!). The place was as quiet as a cathedral until that point in the film where they're practicing getting down to fifty feet over Ladybower, and someone over the intercom says "This is bl**dy dangerous". The whole cinema errupted with roars of laughter - remember, you weren't supposed to swear in them days! :lalala:

Mind you, I'm with John on 'No Highway in the Sky' - James Stewart's drawl and Marlene Dietrich's legs - wow! A very close second, eh?

Cheers - Dai. :mrhappy:

So many to choose from.

As a science fiction fan I suppose I would have to say Independence day, implausible in places but good fun.

Don't forget Firefox also lads. When I first saw it on the cinema it bored me but having watched it a few times on TV, it has grown on me.

Flight of the Intruder I watched years ago, did enjoy it though.
