grth_bbtt 0
i go back next friday :mrhappy: and for the first time i can actually say i dont mind going back to school, as im doing stuff i want to do for my gcse's. secondary school goes quick keiran, for me it was year 8 and 9 that went quickest. year 7 was more an introductory year were teachers barely understand you or your name and mostly talk a load of :wacky: first day at second school was a bit
TapA321 0
I start on monday week after next. I too am just starting my GCSE years, so I get to do stuff I want too. And also, I've had a very long holiday this year, so I don't mind going back really, the teachers are quite a laugh at my school. And Kieran, secondary school is a big step up work wise, but at least you don't get treated like some sort of idiot who can't even go to the toilet by themselves.
hurricanemk1c 195
Yep, but I've got 6 years in that school. First 2 hours went fast, then the rest of the week went s-l-o-w-l-y At leasat on Fridays I get half-days! Time for FS! Kieran

I can second that, once you leave it brings back all the good memories (countless funny times and silly goings on) and I know its strange but you start to miss them  Although I am starting sixth form at the begining of september, I have my sign on day next week. dgor 0
Half days on Fridays! That sounds alright. I've been back at school 2 days and I need another holiday Ah the joys of GCSEs! At least this time next year they'll be over. Hope you're enjoying the new school Kieran!

CyprusAirwaysA330 0
I started today, we didn't get a half day and started at 8:30. It was a pretty much normal day, and what annoys me most is that we got 3 homeworks and some courseworks as well!

MartinW 0
Best years of your life, Kieran! Enjoy...... You guys must go to fun schools then, it wasn't the best years of my life, couldn't wait to escape. My daughter's gone back as well, last year at seniors for her. She's a prefect so having to do duties she would rather not. If she finds the masses of tasks they give prefect a nuisance I've told her to resign. Her work should come first. hello_basil 0
@MartinW: Apart from having to look after the new Year 7's and help on open evenings, its not all work and no play being a Prefect! Cheers, Theo.
