wain 879
Just a quick flight from Edinburgh to Cardiff, full load nearly, nice flight.... loading up at EGPH, free sarnies for the crew I hope..... climbing out throught the cloud... still climbing.... office shot.... EGFF is down there somewhere..... I dont think these shots are as crisp as usual but I have toned down some settings for things you may not really need when flying at FL350...I went roughly with some settings from a guy at Aerosoft and found my VAS just got to 3gig at final approach to Cardiff, really pleased with that.....I have a set up saved for GA with it all turned back up as per Bretts pointer the other week.... brett 2,315
Don't you love it when a flight comes together without a hitch. Nice shots and the clouds look great.

UKJim 502
looking good to me mate - nice flight that one, another good one is Heathrow to Manchester as it's nice and short, good for practicing your procedures and all that jazz
dodgy-alan 1,587
Nicely done, It's a route I fly myself quite often. If in doubt during poor vis, look for St Athans huge white Super hangar and Cardiff/Rhoose is just to the east.
wain 879
cheers Guys, nice to throw in the odd Bus flight inbetween all the AH2 smaller stuff...seem to be getting the hang of this one now, but I am going to try a flight with no ILS next, may end in tears..... Captain Coffee 2,030
Ha...i'm just the reverse. I am far more stressed out when I am trying to use the ILS than hand flying. I autopilot big tubes to destinations, use heading adjust to get roughly on line with the ILS arrow, and then shut it all off and fly it to the ground. Autothrottles help somewhat, unless I forget to shut it off right before touchdown. Edited July 12, 2016 by Captain Coffee
Corsaire31 419
Same for me, I don't fly tubes but I often use ILS approaches on IFR flights. I usually align with the ILS and start descent with the autopilot, then shut it all off around 3 nm away and finish hand flying.
