mutley 4,498
Qantas has unveiled an updated livery and kangaroo logo to coincide with plans to introduce the Boeing 787 into service late next year. The poor Roo has lost his arms. Evolution of the brand More here http://australianaviation.com.au/2016/10/qantas-reveals-new-livery-and-logo/

Captain Coffee 2,030
I think that they should stop/revert their "Graphic-izing" of their logo...it is looking more like an IUD device than a Kangaroo.
wain 879
that aint no kanger anymore.....not sure I like it that much.....
hifly 925
Strewth! The roo looks more like a diving pelican than a crood graphic roo. If Qantas wanted a symbolic Aussie emblem then a can of Fosters would have been more appropriate.

allardjd 1,853
Much ado over nothing.... The planes and the logo belong to them - they can do what they want with them. I doubt the new paint job will attract or deflect any potential passengers. Worst case - possibly someone's brother-in-law owns a graphics design studio or an aircraft paint business and just got a windfall. John
SEATAC 400
The art of airline logos has long since devolved from beautiful and distinctive into "design by committee". They can do what they want, but it bears no resemblance whatsoever to a kangaroo. I'm with Hifly, a can of Fosters would be more fiting
brett 2,316
Looks like a ghost flying to the SW with it's arms out, maybe a Halloween version. I'm going to take whatever flight has the least amount of connections and is the cheapest.
