Destination Airport

Every few weeks Mutley Field will designate a particular airport as a 'Destination Airport'. The original plan was to move Mutley Field around every few weeks, but that idea was shelved so that we could have a fixed base.

The Destination Airport will run like this:

For this first one I will select it and then in the Destination Airport thread, you will be able to post screenshots (minor edits allowed) of your flights into/out of/around the airport. After a couple of weeks the forum Mods will decide upon the best screenshot and make the annoucement of the winner in the Destination Airport thread. The winner will then be asked to select a new airport for the next few weeks, and so on and so on. We think that this will bring new airports to people's attention that they will probably never have flown to if it wasn't for the suggestion of another member.

There are a couple of rules and stipulations for the desintation airport though!

It must be an airport that has either a tough, challenging or scenic approach. Challenging can be due to terrain or weather.

The airport must be available in both FS9 and FSX as standard*. Add-on scenery may be suggested.

The first Destination Airport will be announced later in the week

*Some scenery packages add new airfields into the scenery. If the airfield is available as standard everyone will be able to fly there without the need to download new scenery.
