Looks more like a painting,:) some cloud formations can look to dramatic until you get the lighting just right or if the image has been sharpened I would think.

I chose time of day for the dramatic lighting on a route. All shots original. FSX, DX10 + freeware weather engine WSrealWX pro or FSXWX.

lovely set of shots, I have read some topics lately over on XP regarding weather engines and clouds, some say clouds are just eye candy but I personnly feel they are such an important part of any sim, I know we get cloudless days but on a good day for weather you can have some lovely cloud formations and these do help with a more immersive feel to the sim, also listening to RW Pilots they say that a cloudless sim or a sim with poor weather dipiction is a poor oprtion for a sim.....
