mutley 4,498 Posted October 8, 2017 Report Share Posted October 8, 2017 Yep, went on one of those from Heathrow to Jersey, it was BA and my overriding memory was the noise when sat at a the back My other memory was the emergency landing at Southampton EGHI of BA flight 5390 bound for Malaga with the Pilot halfway out the cockpit after the windshield failed. Joe I remember that emergency, I think it had something to do with the wrong size screws being fitted. Thank god for his crew mate who hung on to him, one very lucky man. Back in those early jet days they were all very noisy with lots of Black smoke coming out the back. They were the good old days I spent at Heathrow plane spotting. 1 Link to post Share on other sites

Captain Coffee 2,030 Posted October 9, 2017 Report Share Posted October 9, 2017 Well shown. I just picked this up recently. It's a nice thing to fly, and pretty useful in Airhauler. Just flew Friday night from SF to Tahoe with passengers and it was a rare flight with no passengers complaining...a nice smooth bird. Link to post Share on other sites
