needles 1,013
Wifey and I had another rather quieter day at the museum today. It's a lot easier getting around when there sent a Flight Sim Show in the way.

dodgy-alan 1,587
It's a great museum, well worth a visit. The Cold war hangar is itself a very photogenic building. It's a curious design that looks like a giant wing.
mutley 4,498
Nice post Brian, I had a feeling you might go back as we never looked around, and of course it is free which must appeal to you as a Yorkshire man

Tristarcaptain 282
I have spent many a happy hour at Cosford museum over the years, prior to my trip across the pond! A great place for the aviation buff!! I just love that TSR. 2...wish that there was an FSX flight simulator for it..... Martin
dogtrack 346
Yes, it's a grand place to spend a few hours. I am only an hour up the road from it. From time to time, they have "open days" around the workshops. Where all the restoration work goes on. If you subscribe to their mailing list you get advanve announcements of proposed events and "tours". It can be very informative chatting with both the apprentices and craftsmen. A belated birthday greeting from me Geoff. Hope you had a pleasant day.
