Flying Over Niagara Falls

Living in the Golden Horseshoe region of Southern Ontario allows me to fly over Niagara Falls fairly often. I put this video together to illustrate the flight rules and procedures that must be followed with a few scenic points of interest. Video was captured with a GoPro mounted to the underside of the right wing.

Very interesting. I flew over the falls in a helicopter from the Canadian side a few years ago. It would have been interesting to have this information in mind when I did so!

This took me back a fair few years when I visited relatives in Toronto and they took me and my family to Niagara. 

A shame we didn't take to the skies but we did go on the 'Maid of the Mist'.

Enjoyable and well made video, thanks for the look. 

Our kids chipped in and sent us for a vacation on the Canadian side for an anniversary over twenty years ago and I could still pick out the places we wandered around and ate, I would recommend it to all. Standing at the very edge of Horseshoe Falls one can feel the power of that water in your bones and the spray is more refreshing than annoying.  They also put colored spotlights on the falls at night which makes for a romantic stroll spot.

We also took the 'Maid of the Mist' boat ride Brian and I remember the spray that time as being an outright soaking, lol.
