greenk 0
Cool. Thanks for sharing Joe. I watched this excellent program the over week on Sky about Air Force 1. Part of the documentary was how they took both the 747s (I didn't even know there were 2 747 exactly the same) to Iraq or Afganistan, cant remember which one on thanksgiving day. They filed a flight plan for a G550 and flew over the ocean, over the UK and down to either of those countries non stop (mid air refuelling) and they almost got caught out when another airliner over the UK was told to 'report traffic in sight', being told it was a G550, hell of a lot smaller than a 747, and they were just listening on the radio in suspence hoping that the other airliner wouldn't give it away, saying, oh, that isn't a G550, its AF1. Great show!
rob16584 42
I watched part of that program last night on National Geographic I think it was. I only saw the last 30mins covering the top secret flight. It was great to watch

allardjd 1,853
Aileron stops have been installed, preventing upward movement of the starboard ailerons, and downward deflection of the portside ones. John
