mutley 4,487
Brussels Airlines, has been forced to change its logo following complaints from superstitious passengers. The 13 dots making up the stylised 'b' brought a flood of complaints about the "unlucky" design. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/6383171.stm Oh dear !
mulletman 0
Very odd, but understandable. To be honest it’s something that should have been thought about at design stage. Another number that crops up in aviation constantly is 8. Do you not find it strange that the A380-800 is the first production version, not the A350-100 like it should be, and the 787 dream liners first version will be the 787-800. All for the Asian markets, where the number 8 is extremely lucky.
dgor 0
Very strange. I'm not that superstitious myself, but I can see where the passengers are coming from. Fred, I read an article about that once. It's a pretty clever ploy actually - apparently a number of Asian airlines bought the 787 simply because of the 8 in its model number!
