allardjd 1,853 Posted July 23, 2009 Report Share Posted July 23, 2009 No, it's inflatable. It was made of rubber and could be folded up into quite a small package. When needed, the engine was run and it had an air pump that inflated the whole thing. I'm pretty sure some assembly was required, but it could be parachuted or trucked to where it was needed quite easily. It never went into production but they fooled around with prototypes for some time and the CIA had some interest in it. John Link to post Share on other sites
