A320cap 0
Hi guys! How many FPS do you get in FS9 and FSX? Also, please tell me your specs I usually get in FS9 in LGAV with a Cessna 15 FPS . In FSX, with very low settings, I get 20FPS My specs are: 7800 GTX AMD 3000+ 1GB RAM 120GB+250BG
Martyn 9
One tip, all you need to do is upgrade your processor and your FPS will leap up. A 7800GTX and a AMD 3000 CPU...you looney  The 7800 is a great card, splash out £90 on a new processor and a cheap 1GB stick of RAM and you will be away :mrhappy:

mutley 4,495
Good luck Panos and good luck with Vista Ultimate, I got it today and have installed the 64 bit version and I am having a few problems with nVidia display drivers, if I find out what the cure is I will post it in this forum :mrhappy: Cheers
A320cap 0
Which edition of Vista Ultimate do you suggest? 32 bit or 64?
Martyn 9
If you use Cargo Pilot then stick with 32 bit, pretty please 64 bit is probably a better long term investment but for compatibility reasons, stick with 32bit for now if possible
A320cap 0
ok. THANKS. I'LL finally order it tomorrow.
A320cap 0
It will be here in 12 days. Changes: I'll buy a Sparkle Video Card instead of ASUS I hope it is OK. What do you think?
mutley 4,495
Sorry for the late reply panos, it's because I have been having so many problems with Vista :sadblinky: I started off with 64 bit and on it's own it is b-e-a- utiful! But there are some issues I feel running some 32 bit apps. Also I still haven't cured the problem with the nVidia drivers for Vista 32 or 64 bit and the constant messages with "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered" nvlddmkn so at the moment when I run FSX it's a nightmare so it will take a while for me to sort it I expect. Good luck with your new rig. Cheers
