I must get there myself sometime... EDIT: It's working now, great shots! With regards to the flaps, was there a lot of traffic about? If so he may have been asked to slow down whilst in a holding pattern which may require flaps if around the 220kts in a 744? The fires were on Austrian news as well... Hope you are ok!
