Competition time! - Guess the Airport

Recommended Posts

Yes, the return of guess the airport!

The rules:

[*:do1q6le4]It can be from FS2000 FS2004 or FSX.
[*:do1q6le4]Three shots in daylight(Maybe one at dust or night if it helps), all relevant to the airport.
[*:do1q6le4]At least one top down or overhead picture.
[*:do1q6le4]You can guess as many times as you like.
[*:do1q6le4]The winner has to post pictures of the next airport to guess.
[*:do1q6le4]The next airport has to be in a different continent.

I will start the ball rolling with these. Good luck

OK Fred  now you are showing off!

It is Bergen Flesland and the scenery is by cloud 9. (I forgot you were familiar with their software)

You know what that means, over to you, I think "Not in the same continent" is a bit harsh so anywhere you like.

Cheers

I’m quite happy with that rule, although there is not much logic behind it. One rule I would add though is that there has to be a distinctive layout to the airport, or something nearby that helps identify where it is. That doesn’t mean to say it has to be easy, it just stops people posting shots of a single runway in the middle of nowhere.

Anyway, here’s my airport. Its not hard...if you know where it is

Oh, and any chance you could make Bergen your next review Mutley? Its one I would love to get, as its fantastic detail and somewhere new to fly.

Mullet, I only have the demo version of Bergen, the main terminal buildings disappear after 5 minutes but it gives you a chance to look around.

There are some nice features though so I may have a go

No idea where you are, yet, but the proximity of the smaller airport and the distinctive terminal are nice clues.

I think I know where it is, this is my guess although it doesn't have the fancy scenery. If it is right I can't go again so I'll leave it to someone else to guess!

Hmm, I'm stumped :sadblinky:. And I can't fire up FS at this time of night to go and check.

Is it Paris-Orly? That other airport could be Le Bourget - looks a bit small though.

EDIT: Can't be Orly, it's missing a runway. Hmm...

Is it:

Chhatrapati Shivaji Intl VABB and the small airport is Juhu VAJJ :eyebrow:

 Well done!

Should be up to Mullet to say but as he's not here, Pete how about posting a new location?

Cheers

Thanks!

Give it a day to allow for any guesses and maybe let us know the continent or a picture of a relevant airline at the airport.

I have no idea yet :eyebrow:

I know exactly where that is, but I wont say as i had the last one. :eyebrow:

Heres a clue. There is yet another version of this in development (this airport has been done as many times as the A320 series will be for FSX) and the same group are also developing London City and Madeira.

Hi ddavid

You're spot on. Mrbobo managed to get it on Saturday and has posted the shot above.

It's in North America and I haven't got a clue yet although mulletman knows where it is, any ideas?

Cheers
