This is me driving down from Aberdeen to Portsmouth on SCS software's new truck sim, UK truck sim! tis good ya'l! I will point out now that Aberdeen is the highest point on the map and Portsmouth the furthest away so this is the longest trip possible in the game. Here is the list of jobs available from the yard on that morning, go on guess which one I took This is our Daf XF with the trailer leaving the yard and right at the lights then left at these lights This is the map and the red line shows our route A cross view of the cab The truck and trailer on some country road at last a motorway getting up to speed The fourth of the fifth getting some diesel then some much need kip Now Link to post Share on other sites

I was a bit disappointed though as I thought you were going to Portsmouth and I would have recognised a lot of the roads! Also, don't go back to that gas station again, you were ripped off for diesel 1.54 per litre, I paid 1.07 on Saturday at Sainsbury's with my 5p off voucher! Cheers Link to post Share on other sites

allardjd 1,853 Posted March 16, 2010 Report Share Posted March 16, 2010 According to your next-to-last screenshot, it was 882 miles (or maybe 852, depending upon which field you read). How long did it take in RW time to drive it? That seems kind of a long distance for that - I checked the airport to airport direct distance from Aberdeen to Plymouth and it's about 475 miles (413 NM). Are the routes so convoluted as to almost double the point to point distance? John Link to post Share on other sites

The red barron 41 Posted March 19, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 19, 2010 I did download Atlantis(space shuttle with the external fuel tank and SRB thrusters that really do separate :biggrin: ) earlier Kieran so the moon isn't that far off. Since I got this I haven't played Euro truck since as this is far more advanced then that ever will be regardless Of what patch 1.4 if ever released will contain.
