needles 1,013
Hi Guys, I am doing a wee bit of fundraising on behalf of my son and his mates in the RAF. In August they are undertaking a charity car/banger rally in aid of the 'Help the Heroes' Charity. This is the link to my sons page on facebook. http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A ... b918295f9c" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It is self explanatory and I hope you have the time to take a quick look and maybe find some way of helping him/them raise as much as they can for this very worthy cause. Our guys and girls need every help they can get when they get back from their tours of duty. Thanks for reading guys. Many thanks and regards Needles aka Brian  EDIT: Forgot to mention, if you do want t donate/sponsor the guys would you tell them you are from Mutley's Hangar. Cheers guys. A BIG Thanks to Joe for allowing this link onto the site. Edit #2: The correct title of the charity is 'Help for Heroes' not, as I put it 'Help the Heroes'. Thanks again guys. wisemanp 0
I shall have a look Brian. Help for Heroes is a charity I am quite familiar with, as my local rugby team Gloucester do a huge amount of fund raising for them. Definitely a worthy cause. Thanks.

I mistakingly put 'Help the Heroes' when, in fact the charity is actually called 'Help forHeroes. Edited Thanks for taking the time to look. Regards Brian
Sputnik421 0
I'm short of cash at the mo, but would be willing to put my silly orange suit on. To pull them out of there cars if the track they use is close enough to me. I don't have facebook, but will get my lass to have a look as she is one of those that use that dodgy site. Edit: Looking at Paul's facebook page it's a run rather than a banger race. I have not asked the MSA for a letter of authorization to marshal aboard yet, so would not be able to marshal the circuits they will be attending.

My son is out in Afghan on his 3rd tour at the moment and won't be doing the race/run until August. I wish I could go with him but it's a son team per car and they have their team sorted.( All guys and 1 girl from the RAF). They have to raise at least
