Slim Logistics Ltd

Hi Guys,

I thought I would start another thread as for some reason the old one has gone inactive, either that or you are all bored of me which I can't believe...

I have been updating the site recently and have posted the six month financial report for SlimAir Logistics and have also brought SlimRoad Haulage up to date this morning. I have also added more images for both companies for everyone to feast on...

I hope you are all finding it still interesting, the six month financial report took me a little time to put together and has some astonishing figures. If anyone wants the massive Excel Spreadsheet I sifted through just shout, but I doubt you would.

Take a gander at the site at: http://web.me.com/slimnasty/SlimAir_Logistics/Welcome.html

Seems as though the company is doing well Phil, although the text and figures on the financials don't line up correctly on my browers (IE)

Ouch I see what you mean, typical Mac vs PC rivalry, I will try and sort it out in the next few days, bare with me please...

Hi Guys,

Just finished another sucessful flight in a 747. As I don't sleep at night I flew from Switzerland to Poland, but at 4.30am fatigue meant I had to attempt five landings as kept setting the ILS wrong, but no damage done so all is well. I won't post this on my blog but thought it was interesting

I have finally sorted this problem this morning. Doesnt look like you can put a text box within a text box on iweb on the mac.

Anyway it lines up in IE8 now, so hopefully will be correct in all other browsers. I have added more to the site this morning. If you see anything else wrong just let me know...

Looking brilliant as always Phil! Have you thought about the PM I sent you on Jf yet? Just curious.

Hi M8,

You will need to resend as it doesn't appear to have come across unless it is an older message and I have completely forgotten, anyways would be good to refresh my memory and I can have a look.

Hi Guys,

Just done some more updates...

PAGES UPDATED 10/04/10: SlimAir + Pilots + SlimRoad + Blog

Check out the site at: http://web.me.com/slimnasty/SlimAir_Logistics/Welcome.html

I would love to hear what everybody is thinking of late as not many of you are replying to these threads these day's and it gives me encouragement to carry on hearing what you guys think?

I have started putting together a more detailed six month report to build on the overview from the beginning of the month and this should be available soon as a PDF and include a lot more detail about the company. I am also considering adding a sort of company brochure as a PDF and maybe my pilot roster and a form I created for logging my Legend pilots each day so I can micro manage them. What does everyone think about these ideas?

I look forward to hearing from everyone...

That Phil was an expensive mistake! :help:

Glad to see that your now back in Your A class in the road sector.

Tell me about it, not quite sure how it happened, okay I knew it was a little bit rough and was tempted to do a go around, but wanted to nip out so thought sod it :winka: ...

Ah well just as well I keep cash reserves...

Oh yes and the new truck is a dream. Finally up to the last level in the game, so now have to deliver specific cargos to specific destinations oh and not break any rules :winka:

Hi Guys,

Okay another substantial update today with the usual to SlimAir, Pilot Amendments and a blog where we have restructured our fleet of aircraft!

You will also notice under the Technical page I have added 737 Pilot in Command as I do love my 737's. This was a little mistake as I didn't realise it was the older aircraft and doesn't incude the NG aircraft. Having said that my first impressions are pretty good and the detail and complexity seem just right. On top of that I can get this one in the air, unlike the F-Lite 747 series I own.

You will also notice a massive leap in images on the site as follows:

Boeing (8)

Bombardier (3)

Bell (1)

Bases (2)

SlimRoad (42)

Have a look for yourselves: http://web.me.com/slimnasty/SlimAir_Logistics/Welcome.html

An remember I want your feedback, what would you like to see or read about?

Hi Guys,

Okay have spent the last few hours doing part of an overhaul so that I could add a new section "Aircraft" this has been added with links from the pilots page to each aircraft in the fleet with useful information about each aircraft. Also you will notice from this and the blog that my entire fleet is in the SlimAir Logistics livery as have spent hours the last few days sorting them all out.

Now that they are up to date I hope to keep them this way.

If you want me to expand on the information provided which I can by all means, just leave a post here...

Hi Guys,

I thought I would just let you know I have updated the website:

http://web.me.com/slimnasty/SlimAir_Logistics/Welcome.html

It also gives me great disappointment to notify people that I will soon be giving up the internet (10/05/10, if Sky doesn't cut me off b4)

Basically I have had a bad year, from redundancy a year ago, to being unemployed for 6 months and more recently having my new jobs wages drop drastically to the point where I am on half my previous income which has forced ill health. I am therefore reluctantly having to re-align my life considerably and one of the things that has to go is the internet, I simply can't afford it.

I will be closing Slim Logistics Ltd very soon for a limited period of time, but it will be back.

I am also hoping to post to the forums and my website updates at least once a month from my Brothers internet connection, but he lives miles away and I am losing my car also soon, which will mean walking or push bike lol...

Anyway It has been fun and I hope to post as I say from my brothers, but replies maybe very slow... (SORRY)

Sorry to hear of your mis-fortune Phil,

I hope things turn around real quick and you get a decent-paying job and more importantly your health back.

Please don't be too much of a stranger, keep SL going off line and update us when you can.

Kind regards,

Joe
