mutley 4,498
Mutley's Hangar is pleased to offer a pre-release review of this versatile aircraft. Rob has found this to be an extremely flyable package. You can read his review Here Cheers

CaptHill 0
I am desperate for a new airbus add on and will read this with great interest Rob in comparison to aerosofts upcoming release. Cheers Rich
rob16584 42
It's worth bearing in mind Rich that if you want a more complex aircraft with accurate systems modelling then the Airbus model may be a better option for you

stu7708 244
Great review Rob. And a great plane to fly, I can second that. My only problem is that I feel like the Master Avionics Button is missing. If you start your flight from a true C&D setup there's no way to ensure power supply to the radios or the MCDU, other than binding a key to "Master Avionics" in the settings.. or use CTRL+E to start the engines... needles 1,013
Downloaded my pre-order last evening and can't wait to try and fly the A320. Also managed to get it for a big fat
mutley 4,498
Great news Brian, as they say in Tescos "Every little helps!!" Cheers
rob16584 42
Great news Brian. Mikael, yes this is a drawback (if you can call it that). The main reason that I didn't mention this is because the add-on is not a 'full-fat' add-on. If it was in the same league as PMDG etc... it would have been marked down for it. As it is aimed at the more casual simmer who wants a bit more from FS, I don't really think that it is too big an issue. I hope that makes sense..

I can see your point, and my complaints was directed to the model it self and not your review. I hope that was clear in my post.... But just to check, did you have the same experience as me with regards to the radios and the MCDU from a true C&D setup? Because the response I got from JF support was that the MCDU and radio should be powered on once the battery switch and the APU + APU generator was online.. Sent them my default flight info on tuesday last week and asked them to see if they could reproduce my problem, and havn't heard back from them since.
rob16584 42
Mikael, could you drop me an email (scotty12@gmail.com) to remind me to do it. I'm here, there and everywhere this week so am likely to forget to try. Cheers
stu7708 244
Hi Rob. No need for you to check it. I got an answer from JF-support last night where they confirmed that I needed to do it the way I do, and from what I read between the lines that's the way they want it. But thanks anyway.
