jankees 917
Here's a few progress shots of my first bearcat paint. So far, I'm still peeling paint off the fuselage, just you wait until I get started on the wings..
mutley 4,498
The difference in the ageing on the fuselage is considerable, I can see how much time ageing a surface must take. Thanks for the insight Jan Kees. Joe
jankees 917
This is what the fuselage looks like after a bit more playing with the alpha and spec files: what do you think, looking better, or is it too shiny now?
mutley 4,498
I think it is looking much better, there's no reason why she couldn't be beaten up and shiny! Cheers

needles 1,013
These people should really be looking after their aircraft. Great job Jan'.
jankees 917
Here's two more Bearcats, a bit cleaner this time. VF-19 was en route to the PTO when Japan capitulated: while VF-18 was also ready to leave:
stu7708 244
:001_th_smiles76: Just don't know what to say... At first I thought that the peeling on the wings next to the fuselage was a bit to much, but then I realised that's where the backdraft from the prop will bring a lot of small debris... Wyatt 0
I like the bearcats, one looks like it has been through battle; the other looks like it was just sent to battle!
