Aidan 1
:atwc: Outstanding pics as usual Aidan. I honestly think you clipped the guy on final with one of your wheels Ssh! FAA say you need to be 50 feet above the ground on approach. Obviously nobody is there to inspect you, I don't recall hitting the ground, nor the person! XD
ddavid 149
I don't suppose the blue bikini was responsible for the off-centre touch-down - No, of course not! It was the side wind, eh?!? Love the clouds, too, Aidan - well done, nice flight, Cheers - Dai.
stu7708 244
Great shots Aidan. What scenery of St. Bart is that?? I'd love to give that approach a shot, but the default FSX terrain mesh in that area is way to flat...

I'd love to give that approach a shot, but the default FSX terrain mesh in that area is way to flat... I think St Barts is part of the Fly Tampa FS2004 St Maarten scenery Micke, along with Saba, not included in the FSX version. (Happy to be proved wrong!!) Cheers, Joe
Aidan 1
there is an FSX version from FlyTampa. I use FSX
stu7708 244
And according to Fly Tampas webpage Saba is included in the FSX package too!! Yet another Must Have FSX-addon once I have the founds for it. St. Barts was actually once a swedish colony (1784 to 1878), one of few swedish colonies. The capital (Gustavia) and airport are namned after the king that ruled in sweden when it was established as a swedish colony.
mutley 4,497
Micke, I hope you are right, I will have to go and look, I would really like Saba and St Barts in FSX, it's been a long while since I have looked at Fly Tampa. Cheers joe
