mutley 4,498
Lucky to find me in Rob, I was out and about this morning discovering the scenery. There was a dusting of snow on the roads There is a one way system here! A quick nod to the flying club President! No running across the taxiways Barrier down Weather is closing in but enough time for a quick lap Lancair IV-P from Orbx Another one with wacky under carriage! Off out to the Aerosoft VFR South scenery Back over the field with my house just under the starboard wing Mountain flying just a short hop away Heading back, the cloud is going to be on the ground soon Runway at my 10 o' clock Lined up, almost straight down SubLogic Drive past my front door. Almost made it, no detour needed! "GET THE KETTLE ON!" - I'll pay for that later.. One of my better landings Stopping off to have a look at the headsets Hope you enjoyed, see ya soon! ddavid 149
Wouldn't leave the door open, mate - not in that weather, anyway! Nice place - must see what's in the piggy bank... Cheers - Dai.
mutley 4,498
They've got a ramp into the lake Dai for seaplanes and full seaplane facilities too. A Mutley's award winner!
hurricanemk1c 195
Nice shots Joe - shame about no space for the '380 though! Must get Andres Field.......
allardjd 1,853
Does anyone have any insight into how they are doing with this product commercially? If successful, I'd expect they would publish more of them in other locations. John
rob16584 42
Well the AF community is thriving, so I guess that is a good indication. I am using it for my new AH base too. Although with more complex aircraft the FPS do suffer a bit. I've just landed there with a default A/C and FPS remained in the high teens
IcedUpPitotTube 0
Must Get Andras Field! *Checking my wallet* :001_th_smiles48: :icon_yikes: Anyways, brilliant shots Joe. How are you liking the Lancair? P.S. I wonder if Mutley's Hangar could have a piece of property there... just a thought. But I see that you have also snapped up a piece of property. SEATAC 400
SubLogic Drive. Now that's funny. Nice they pay tribute to the orignator of FS. I still have a copy floating around somewhere for the Apple II! That weather closing in looks great. Glad that you made it back in time, Joe.
mutley 4,498
Hi Andrew, I did originally apply for a commercial property but got no reply. As it happened I got this property at a fraction of the price and the Mutley's Hangar bespoke sign too! Quite happy with that As for the Lancair, early days. My first impression is it's a bit rough around the edges but I need to give it some decent time to explore. Cheers, Joe
stu7708 244
The livery on the Lancair is just brilliant.. and so are the shots And I have to agree with Kieran and Andrew.. Must Get Andras Field, but not right now.. the new camera, 20 Kg of lamb meat and some other FSX addons has left a big hole in the bank account this month..
mutley 4,498
20 Kg of lamb meat . Wow That's a lot of lamb, yum yum!!! Is that for the whole of winter or just for the parents visit this weekend!? Thanks for the kind comment btw. Joe
stu7708 244
Well, we split that whole lamb halfway with my parents, and the weight included the bones too, but still lots and lots of good tender meat... Should last us over christmas atleast.
