rob16584 42
Whilst I'm waiting for B&Q to open, I decided on a short flight from ENGM-ESSA. This shot is taken just before descent
mutley 4,498
I thought they were all on the ground at Gatwick!!Nice shot Rob, more wallpaper from B&Q is it?
rob16584 42
No, Pollyfiller. I think I should have been a plasterer, i've done a decent job if I do say so myself.
stu7708 244
Nice shot Rob. Now, decending into ESSA, that should put you somewhere around the TRS VOR, or possibly the ARS VOR if you came in from the west.. correct? As for plastering, I can't stand using it. On the last three home projects we've done we've used a "restore wallpaper". It's a 1 mm thick glasfibre sheet that you put up in the same manner as regular wallpaper. Evens out any small bumps on the wall leaving you with a very smooth surface, and you can paint or wallpaper right on top of it. Saves a bunch of time, plus you won't have the whole room full of dust from evening out the plaster.

rob16584 42
It would have been nearer the ARS VOR I think. I'm making a quick tour of the area at the moment: London-Oslo-Stockholm-Helsinki-Riga-Rekyavik-London
stu7708 244
ARS made more sence when I saw that you flew in from Oslo.. I was distracted by Joe's comment on Gatwick :th_smiles73:
