Whilst I'm waiting for B&Q to open, I decided on a short flight from ENGM-ESSA.

No, Pollyfiller. I think I should have been a plasterer, i've done a decent job if I do say so myself.

Now, decending into ESSA, that should put you somewhere around the TRS VOR, or possibly the ARS VOR if you came in from the west.. correct?

As for plastering, I can't stand using it. On the last three home projects we've done we've used a "restore wallpaper". It's a 1 mm thick glasfibre sheet that you put up in the same manner as regular wallpaper. Evens out any small bumps on the wall leaving you with a very smooth surface, and you can paint or wallpaper right on top of it. Saves a bunch of time, plus you won't have the whole room full of dust from evening out the plaster.
