Captain Sim 767 to Heathrow

Recommended Posts

Some shots from an early morning flight in the CS767 from Frankfurt to Heathrow. This really is a fantastic aircraft and is a lot of fun to fly.

After a relatively short cruise it's time to descend into London on the LAM3A Arrival to Runway 27L

Leaving LAM and descending from 7,000ft down to 2,500ft

All lined up and descending with the glideslope. I was thinkink I may have to go around as someone was arguing that runway 05/23 was still in use at Heathrow. It was quite a lively debate

Thanks for viewing, I'm going to try and post more screenshots of my flights this year. I make loads and don't always take pictures

Nice Shots Rob, though IMHO the CS 767 is a port over from the 757 and is VERY unrealstic. FMC doesn't calculate TOD properly, hence LNAV doesn't decend you automatticly and ILS approach tends to be to the right, top it off, its an FPS Hog :(

Hi Aiden,

It is an FPS hog on the ground, but they have issued a patch to sort it out to make it a little easier. I get around 10fps at heathrow and 40fps in flight so i'm not too concerned.

I've not had any problems with it calculating TOD, as long as I've had the correct crossing altitudes entered it's done everything perfectly for me. I have noticed that the ILS tracking on the display does appear to be to the right, but if I let it follow the ILS to the runway it's always dead centre.

Cheers
