mutley 4,498
None experienced here, there is a bug in W7 when trying to add FSX scenery manually, but there are plenty of work-arounds.
ddavid 149
Like Joe, I've had W7 64-bit for 18 months now and can't really report many FSX related defficiencies apart from the add-on scenery glytch. Compared to Vista, W7 flies! No worries there, then! However, be careful when you install FSX and get the order of the SP's and Acceleration correct before you install any add-ons. Good Luck! :thumb: Cheers - Dai.
stu7708 244
The only thing that springs to mind is to avoid installing FSX in the default location since the whole folder structure below C:\program files are under "protection" from the UAC system (i think it's called). If installed in the default location everything needs to be running "as administrator" to work (and no, being logged in as a user with administrator rights isn't enough). Installed elsewhere and you should have no trouble at all. I actually disabled the UAC, got so tired of getting all those question asking if I'm sure I want to do this or that.
