wisemanp 0
OK, here, finally, are the pictures of the flight  Here's our plane for the day- the Varig 767-300ER All the pre-flight complete, we're ready for pushback Lining up on the runway, cleared for takeoff 'Rotate' Up, up and away! On a steep bank over the Amazon I think the first round of coffee is being served now Oh dear someone's spilt dark coffee over the 1st class seats... Look at the wing-flex! Coming out of the sun Some pinkness(is that a word??) in the sky People on board are starting to get weary as we cruise at FL330 A large settlement on the Amazon down below is setting into it's nightlife as we pass overhead Being vectored in towards Belem We're descending now How many million gallons of water are there down there... There's Belem in the distance Turning in-I can see some airport lights Almost there, 'retardation', cutting off power Slowing down, ready to turn off towards our gate-and to the next baton carrier! Thanks for being patient, boa vinda a Belém, noite boa!
dgor 0
Fantastic Phil! Love the rotation shot in particular. Brazil is a beautiful place to fly. Well done and thanks for filling in! Dave
mutley 4,495
Great flight Phil, I guess that's the Level-D with all that wing flex modelled so well? Shame about the first class spilling the coffee, I think if I were flying the 763 I would make strategic steep turns just when the coffee was being served too! I loved all the shots but particularly the landing ones. Thanks for completing this leg Phil. Cheers
