mutley 4,497
Air Force One had to pull out of an attempted landing at the Hartford airport this morning, pulling out because of poor visibility but making it on the second try. The president and other passengers were never in danger. More here A bit of a "non-story" to me, there cannot be much news today
allardjd 1,853
Yep, slow news day. Anything that guy is involved in ends up as news, whether it's newsworthy or not. I guess I'd rather hear about this kind of thing than some of the other things he could be doing. A missed approach means there was an extra ten minutes he had to be belted to his seat and I suppose that limits him a little. John
GabethePilot 1
Crikey, you don't like Obama do you John? Would you rather Bush was still around ? My RAM has a higher IQ than him.
allardjd 1,853
I'd rather Reagan were still around, but alas, he's gone forever. I would settle for Bush in a New York minute compared to the American Apologist we "enjoy" now. Bush's biggest problem was a blind spot on immigration. The current inhabitant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. is too smart for his own good - or ours. Would you like to trade your PM for our President? We'll even throw in a used trash can as well, to double the value of our offer. Isn't it great that we live in a place where we can complain about the government without fear? MarkJones 0
I'd love to see what the Americans would make of David Cameron as Prisident...
IcedUpPitotTube 0
David Cameron is a conservative right? So technically, he would be an American Republican.
GabethePilot 1
We'd trade our PM for a pack of polo mints. Ellen Degeneres for President !!!! Thank the Good Lord, Trump prefers to keep his billion-dollar empire. That "prospect" WAS worrying. :icon_thumbup: Good Lord, I'm losing the plot - it's the mad cows... :001_th_smiles48:
Tim_A 997
Kevin Spacey has made an excellent job of running the National for the past few yers... Or Harrison Ford: He owns and flies a Beaver, so can't be all bad!
allardjd 1,853
I agree with Ellen Degeneres on exactly one thing - I like girls too. :001_th_smiles89: John
mutley 4,497
I say give Charlie Sheen a go. :th_smiles73:
allardjd 1,853
I'm sure Charlie's so-called "...violent torpedoes of truth..." might not go over very well at the UN. Come to think of it, that might make it a good idea to get him into the job for a while. But not Ellen, please. John
