dgor 0
Hi all, Apologies for the wait on these. Re-did the flight tonight and have to admit that I went a bit overboard :blush. The aircraft was the brilliant Tinmouse B737-200, and in our very own Mutley's Hangar repaint too. Our route on this flight took us on the Genoa SID from runwau 35L at Malpensa, from where we just headed south down the coast of Italy for a visual approach to runway 7 at Palermo. Unfortunately it means we didn't get to see much of the Alps. Preparing the 737-200 at MXP, which is quite busy today. Taxiing out of our gate, whilst the A319 follows in our smokey wake. There had been a long queue... ...but by the time we were in it, it was much smaller. Ah the joys of parallel runways. Lining up whilst the BAe146 climbs out ahead. V1, Rotate! And from the tower. That's the last we'll see of the Alps today I'm afraid. Climbing out over Northern Italy. Cruising at a relatively low 25,000ft. One for all you guess the airport fans. Do you know where this is (I have the answer written down so all shall be revealed  ) Thankfully the weather is turning out OK, unlike yesterday's attempt. Thank you Flight Environment. Beginning our descent now over the Med. I love this panel, despite the few bugs which I found. Quite a bit of turbulence now that we're in the clouds. A few heading adjustments later, we're on approach and in fog - not great when it's a visual approach. Not a great landing but with the fog and all, I'd been expecting a bit of a screecher. "Let it all hang out..." We had to get off the runway quickly... ...and there's why. Racing our new friend to the stand. Steady... Parked up at lovely Palermo, the engines cooling down. Over to you Joe :-) (if you still want to do leg 5). Thanks for looking guys, the repaint is available on request :mrhappy: Dave :-)

mulletman 0
Great shots your best ever!! Any chance on a link to that panel? :mrhappy: Were can I get that 727? And would it be possible for me to do leg 6? (The one after Joe) 737... And sure, everyones entitled to do a leg. Although you might have to wait until leg 5 is complete before you can put in a bid. We shall see.
dgor 0
Thank you all :-) @ Ben and Fred: The panel is part of the Tinmouse II B737-200 package, and it's available from Avsim. There's a few updates to install but I'd highly recommend it - an incredible piece of freeware! Dave

ChrisE 0
Fab shots, FSX???? The ground textures at palermo told me this?
dgor 0
Hi Chris, No, it's FS9 :mrhappy: . The ground textures at Palermo and other default airports are from Airport Enviroment Upgrade 7 - from Avsim. It does hit FPS a bit though as the textures are much larger.
