The P47's were out and about again last night

This time we are trying out some FTX-Orbx PNW and NRM scenery, the flight was from KHQM-Bowerman to WA68-Vantage.

Not the best collection of screen shots for viewing the new scenery TBH, but it's pretty darn hard trying to keep close formation and do the camera man bit as well, you really need to stay seated in the cockpit for the whole time or else you start drifting all over the place and loose each other in the clouds.

I'm hoping that Sabre will post his shot's in here as well, just incase he managed to get some of the area's that I missed ;) .

Here's the flight plan, starting from the very nice Bowerman airfield that is free to download at the FTX-Orbx site. (sorry I don't have any shot's of Bowerman, but I'm sure you have all seen this one many time's before anyway ;) )

I chose the Orbx weather no3 for this flight, it will be interesting to see if Sabre has the same weather as me, because I was hosting this flight  .

The best shot of the whole flight IMO, "keep that formation close Gents ;) "

Well into the flight now, and still keeping it close, we should be at Mount Rainier soon.

And there it is off our right wing's, not able to view the summit due to cloud cover again :( .

Nearing the end of our flight now, and it's also time to say good bye to the PNW Blue scenery, as we move on to another area ;) .

Over the Northern Rocky Mountains scenery now, and that's my last shot from this flight, let's hope Sabre can add a few more from his collection

Thanks for looking

I know I said this before but it still stands, these are the best multiplayer series of shots I have seen.

It must be the choice of aircraft and scenery and superb captures.

Well done team G

Thanks Joe - the aircraft, scenery and the company make an excellent combination

Graham has posted some excellent shots so I've kept it to some starting shots and a couple of close ups I liked.

Excellent shot's Graeme, glad you got the shot's that I missed :good: .

Think that I like your pic no2 best, coz that's over 4500 HP of Pratt and Whitney R-2800 you can see warming up there m8y! :pilotic:

Will have to take Riyker along next time to see what 7000 HP looks like ;) .

very nice shots, looks like fun!

I don't know if you ever noticed, but I did a number of repaints for the 63rd FS (the one with the UN registration), so you can also fly as a flight from the same squadron.

If you like other squadrons, I did the same thing (more paints from one squadron) on more occasions.

Hello Sam.

Nice to hear your still up for some online flying, will have to catch up with you some time about that :) and the good news is that we seem to have fixed the connection issues (It was Sabre's fault again ;) ).
