rob16584 42
Some shots of the 2 hour flight from Ocala to Nassau in the DC-6 Waiting patiently at the ramp for the passengers to board All aboard and pushing back for the taxi to rwy36 Lumbering away into the sky, the handling of this aircraft is great Cruising along at 15,000ft All looks good from the VC Passengers are enjoiyng the views On downwind of the island, so time to descend down to 2,000ft Flaps nearly full for a landing, the winds are a bit tricky Nicely done Thanks for flying, see you again sometime This is a fantastic freeware aircraft available from flightsim.com (dc6_v20x.zip) and is available as an FS9 or FSX model. The flight model seems very good and handles as I would expect it to.

Thought you may like to compare that model with the freeware JBK one thats also availiable, Like all JBK aircraft it is extremely well detailed and as a whole lot of goodies attached. This is just one of tha large number of shots I have.
rob16584 42
Thanks for that Alan, I think that the model I am using is the JBK version. The titles in the aircraft menu hve (JBK) after them
dodgy-alan 1,587
Its the same one then Rob, If you type in JBK on the FS search engine you'll find lots of great old airliners. Most of mine come from there. They really are excellent models.
