Just got this airfield today, it's the new released Harvey Field by FTX Orbx, (Sabre made me buy this one as well, :secret: )

As the thread title says :)

The static GA look very nice, almost better looking that the payware plane that I'm in :thum:

Nothing like a nice bit of free advertising, should I "POP" their balloon

Carenado's 182-RG in a livery that is free to download at the Orbx site (must say I am enjoying this one a lot for a non A2A plane :) )

BTW: I was getting really low FPS first time I loaded this airfield up, a couple of things that helped me a lot is turning off the AI aircraft and the moving traffic outside the airfield as well, also useing the short grass option and have cut back on the static GA to sparce., Sorry but I just could not bring myself to turn off the AI balloons, coz they are so cool to watch, you can even see the burner lighting up as they drift around the sky

Great shots..

Regarding the balloons, do they actually move around? The one I found over NZ was very static, and I think I spotted the same model in your shots...

And if they move, do they move with the wind, or just along a pre-programmed route??

Judging by those screenshots I did you a really big favour "making" you buy this airfield :whis: :whis:

Great scenery, great shots, lovely aircraft, what more can you ask for?

:censored:Maybe Cushman Meadows :censored:

Those are some really great screen shots. Orbx never disappoints!

Mikael, regarding the AI balloons. I have some AU Blue scenery (Tasmania) which also has an AI hot air balloon floating around. While it does not show the flame from the burner, the balloon does move around. Looks like a pre-programmed route to me, though I never paid close attention to its flight path.

Very cool Shots, Graham. But to underfly a bridge could be end in the water.... :whis:

someone here had tried that with a helicopter (search-and-rescue) without any reason - and fell into the water, the emergency-doc died... :wacko2:

Nice trip Graham and suberb scenery-shots :thum:

Yes they do move around and they turn their burners on and off as they float around the sky, except for the blue one that seems to be static on the ground

They seem to be on a flight plan, although the Red one is flying on a different plan altogether! and I have not seen it land yet!.

The FTX Orbx ballon lands and takes off from a field near the end of the runway  . (BTW: the burner looks much better from a distance ;) ).
