ShrewsburyFC 215
Thanks guys! The Dornier is a bit of a bone-shaker but a great old bird to fly. Have you flown over Sark yet? I thought I was takeing off in a tractor when I first rolled down the runway! I have flown over Herm and Sark, only got the one shot though with the islands in view. I have actually visited Herm (I think it was Herm, the one with the beach! ) and Guernsey in real life, it was an awesome little place! The release I am desperately waiting for though is Jersey, I have been there many times in real world, it is a beautiful place to visit and I would love to do some approaches over the St Ouen`s beach ! UKJim 502
Like the look of this plane! Is it like the katana with realism etc? Great shots and wicked scenery too!
PanzerFodder 0
I don't have the kantana so can't compare the two. But if you run the Do-27 in pro mode it dishes out engine and electrical damage if you abuse it, also the flaps are a bugger for getting jammed if you drop them when your going to fast. it take ages for it to repair any damage to the engine, so you should fly it carefully, unless you fancy sitting on the ground twiddling your thumbs before every flight. BTW: This plane is a port over from FS2004 so there is no DX10 preview and don't expect to be getting good FPS from it either, I can only get about 20 to 25 FPS with it on my system, although this should improve if your running an top dog i7 computer . UKJim 502
Yeah sounds like the katana might get this as the katana is crazy good! We will see! Does look great though! Does it have night lights e.g. cockpit or panel lights? One thing the katana lacks but true to the real plane!

PanzerFodder 0
Of course you do, Sam Here's the real thing (video's are in German, Although Max should be OK with that ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nw8e4eXJmhw This is part 4 of the series http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kLWqYV09_Y Cheer's...Graham... PS: I should also add that the young man in these videos Michael Grzimek died on-location during the filming of the documentary when "D-ENTE" collided with a vulture and he lost control of it.
