Hi Joe,

FWIW - Here's another source: http://www.skyvector.com - I'm not sure where you'll be taken by this URL. I've already used their system, so it remembers me and takes me back to the last session. I hope I'm not just showing you something you've known about for years.

They have a simple planning routine in either IFR High alt, IFR Low alt, or VFR.

Here's a screenshot of the beginning ATWC06 - planned for a Low altitude IFR route;

This company covers the whole world (so they say).

To input this route, I used the stock FSX flight planning software, accepted the routing as offered, then fed the waypoints into the Skyvector system so I'd have a decent IFR chart to look at instead of the FSX display. Once you have a route in Skyvector, you can switch around from IFR to VFR charts.

Cheers,

March

Hi March.

I think someone mentioned this elsewhere on the forum just a couple of weeks back.

A perfect tip for those lacking a good flight planner.

Thanks for posting...
