allardjd 1,853
Sounds like quite an adventure. Is fuel/range/endurance sufficient without special tanks? Canada - Greenland - Iceland - Ireland route? John

britfrog 180
Sounds like quite an adventure. Is fuel/range/endurance sufficient without special tanks? Canada - Greenland - Iceland - Ireland route? John it is qute a few months away yet, the plane is still to be built but we hope to have a 100 gallon extra fuel cell in the cabin, normally we woud route behind the east coast busy areas such as philli, NY etc and pass via goose bay or gander to narsasuaq and then onto keflavik , pretwick etc however we are just at the early stages of planning yet so this will all need to be finalised at a later date. Also need to hire immersion suits , dinghys and emergency stuff which is a legal requirement for any transatlantic small a/c. I am sure the next few months will fly by. .
