ShrewsburyFC 215
I have been following the story so far and it has been excellent, and now its my turn to contribute! Leg 4 ESMS Sturup - EYIV Vilnius After eventually finding Micke and the Baton over in the GA Section South of Runway 11, we travelled back over to the main terminal where my choice of aircraft was waiting. By this time Sharon had somehow caught up with the baton, and was banging on the cockpit window, and half hanging of the air stairs screaming abuse that I nearly left her behind. After letting her in we set up the aircraft and filed a flight plan direct from Sturup to Vilnius. Sturup Airport Plan: Lets goo... Taxiing along, checking out the very yellow terminal buildings Sharon was looking good in yet another Stewardess outfit! She must have millions of these outfits at home! Lining Up Climbing out from Sturup Gear Up Climbing up to our cruising altitude Having a look round at the landscape below us from the cockpit before we pass over a large body of water. Nearly passing over the coast Passing through a few clouds Checking out the moon before we make are long trip across the Baltic Sea Edging above the cloud layer A very nice sunrise as we look back over the Swedish coast Heading out over the waters Passing over Bornholm The suns getting higher! About to continue on over the next body of the Baltic Sea, sadly leaveing Bornholm behind us. Switching the Auto Pilot on while I go and call Sharon to get me some food! A nice site as we eventually pass over the Lithuanian coast. The sun still continueing to rise Beginning our descent over Lithuania, Poland to our right. Edging closer to the top of the cloud layer Passing over some Lithuanian countryside west of Kaunas The moon still visible Turning towards Vilnius! Passing back through the cloud layer it got a bit bumpy! I could hear Sharon trying to clear up after our diner, lets just say it was quite amusing. Passing over the rural outskirts of Vilnius Passing over Vilnius Intl Joining the circuit, the airspace was busy busy busy! Flaps down, gear down on final approach! Passing over the runway threshold Touch down! Slowing the Embraer down with its reverse thrusters and spoilers Turning off the runway, Sharon was getting all excited! Parked up outside the hanger where Kieran will hopefully be waiting to greet me and the baton, oh and Sharon... Vilnius Airport Plan: Thanks for looking! Sam

allardjd 1,853
Very nicely done. Good leg. Did you see Captain Marco Ramius lurking about anywhere around Vilnius? He looks a lot like Sean Connery. John
