saunder 3
Well I have tried it and personaly really pleased. I paid very little and got a reasonable amount of accuracy. I have flown the area I know and was happy with what I saw. I found the road network quite accurate too. First picture looking out over Plymouth autumn textures early morning and yes there are issues when it comes to detail but the basics are good and it looked convincing Heading towards Plymouth coming off Dartmoor Heading towards Bodmin, Bodmin moor on the horizon South Devon countryside not far from Liskeard. mutley 4,498
Hi John, Nice looking shots there, do you still have an issue with the beaches?

rosariomanzo 545
Awesome shots, and what a great aircraft you chose. I should purchase EU ENG soon, just to put my feet (wheels?) in Europe again.
saunder 3
Ftx Eng is worth getting, well I think so anyway. It is a nice aircraft and they did a really good job on it, the engine needs managing or you are walking to your next destination after it goes bang!. Flying Ftx Eng I was able to fly vfr from Exeter to Bodmin using the major road network and cross referenced it using Gmap as I went and they matched to perfection. I also did a flight across country East to West passing Glastonbury on the right I could clearly see Glastonbury Tor then when I aproached the M5 I could see the Mendip Hills to the right and they looked just like they do as you pass that very attractive Morrisons Building next to the M5 going North. Yes not seen a beach yet, I will keep looking. I flew over whitsands bay and Bude not a grain of sand in sight they are just two out of many. John
