remingtonbox 18
What do you think?
mutley 4,498
I like it, very contemporary.
GHAO 0
I wonder if on different aircraft with differently-angled emplannages the stripe-line will still follow the fin angle? Looks good on this AC at least.
SEATAC 400
I hate it. There's nothing wrong with change, but I think the tail looks awful. The eagle graphic towards the front of the plane is nice, but the tail makes me airsick. I realize they are trying to change their image due to their consitently low rating, but they'd do better working on their customer service and improving their on-time percentage. Besides, I saw on the news that it costs them around $70,000 to repaint each 737 and about twice that for a 777. There are a lot better ways for a bankrupt carrier to spend their money. IMHO. remingtonbox 18
I am the total opposite. I hate the billboard font but love the tail, they could have extended a couple of the stripes and made a cheatline out of it.
SEATAC 400
The forwarf part of the plane and the tail just seem disconnected to me. It looks like the logos of two different airlines. No continuity there. Like it was designed by committee.
hurricanemk1c 195
Well, a new livery had to happen at some point, as the 787/A320neo composites have to be painted Looks not great, but better than some recent attempts!
dodgy-alan 1,587
I hate it, it looks cheap and nasty, American have always been distingished by their polished metal fuselages and the red and blue cheatlines, preceded of course by the orange cheatline and panel scheme. It stood out, this just looks like a budget airline scheme done by a third world country. I know todays Plastic Planes cannot be polished but this just doesnt look right...and it looks very familiar! Ah yes, here we are
Christopher Low 63
I think it looks OK. I am not a big fan of the colour scheme that they used prior to this one. The old style "Retrojet" scheme was a lot better.
