Quickmarch 488
This is what happens when you forget to set the parking brake and go away from the computer for a few minutes. Imagine the benefits, though. No boarding lounges, no airstairs, no waiting - straight through security and into your seat. Captain boards, looks around, asks "Everybody here?", sits down and requests a pullback. Enjoy, March
brett 2,315
What? No boarding lounges, no airstairs, no waiting - straight through security and into your seat. Magazine sales would plummet and all those homeland security guys would be hanging on street corners looking for landscape work.

hurricanemk1c 195
Is this Mr Boeing's new idea? Just bring the airport with you?
Quickmarch 488
Thanks for the RW pics John. You'll notice that mine is a much closer fit around the tail/bldg interface. Reminds me of some high-end racing yachts in BC. They're stored in floating boathouses with a slot in the roof to clear the mast/rigging. There's a sliding door that covers the slot (all except for the at rest location of the mast). I believe there's one or two of these boathouses in Sydney. AU area, as well. Sorry no pic. Cheers, March
brett 2,315
Love the pic's John. Great cost saving sense compared to extending the whole hanger but you would think they could have at least bought a tarp with the money they saved.
