  1. Hi guys, A few pics taken at the Royal International Air Tatoo today, enjoy! This wasn't the shot I was trying to get (Dam Auto Focus) but I thought it turned out quite well! Sam.

  3. Here's a great video from AeroFly: Miro Kantarsky has done several like this. See them here: www.vimeo.com/user300845 Cheers - Dai. P.S. Sorry, the Forum editor won't let me use a hyperlink - don't know why...

  4. Alan, That is the best & most concise 'flow' chart I've ever seen. I've almost slept through so many flip-chart presentations, having the concept on the first page is a breath of fresh air. Re-name the headline to 'Four Forces of Life' & the retardation force at the rear of the plane to 'Government meddling/Taxation' and your flow chart could in fact be depicting modern life. Alan, you are a star! If 'PrIvate Eye' are watching they should get you signed up as a guest columnist pronto. Ray.

  8. Alan, Good selection of aircraft - particularly like the flying boats/sea planes screen-shots. Reminds me of the time I flew in one in Queensland, Australia out to the Great Barrier Reef to do some snorkeling. I was fortunate to be seated in the co-pilot seat during the short flight - just as we were about to land in a very calm stretch of water close to the reef, you can imagine my surprise when the pilot pushed the canopy back and stood up during the final landing stage, exclaiming that he needed a better angle of view to judge where the surface of the exceptionally calm water was!

  12. That is a good tip. Thanks! Another method, which invollves opening your computer, is to remove the hard drive, and plug it into a USB to IDE/SATA adapter and attach it to another PC. You can then download everything that you need and wipe the rest and reformat the drive if you wish. The adapter provides power to the drive and plugs into your other PC via the USB port. My wife does freelance IT work and uses that alll the time for her clients who have crappy old computers that are upgrading or for systems that will no longer boot.
