Landed in Cleveland during a blizzard. Switched planes and headed South to sunny Miami, Florida Passing over Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale heading for a landing on RW 30.

The FBO where I learned to fly (CYHM) had a cartoon in the washroom at eye level over the urinal. It featured a cartoon picture of a little airplane dripping something from it's exhaust stack. The caption was: "Those with low manifold pressure and/or short stacks should taxi closer to the hold line" Strange how my memory works these days, don't ask me what prompted this recollection.

monitor wise get one that runs at 144hz it makes a huge difference i have asus vg248qe and like anything asus it is the rolls royce of stuff, the advantage of the 144hz is you get no blurring of things passing by also you can use the nvidia 3d glasses which add a whole new dimension overcloclocking needs to be approached with a bit of caution but it certainly pays dividends, if i use small a/c i am at 75fps minimum and that gives a rock steady picture , however you must use DX10 to get all the advantages .

Quick update time. Been painting, and tweeking the FSUICP4 settings and things are all starting to work. Only the one "horizon screen" in use at the moment, but there will be three in time. Still not covered the lower fuse yet, as I still need access to the wires and runs. On a couple of days though, that will be done, and I have to paint it inside. Contortion artist, sort back and barked shins and elbows. It really was a very small aeroplane! I am having an issue with getting the "radio" to work, and I have a feeling that is because RealAir didn't "fit" a radio to their Spit IX So
