  2. I am ready to update my monitors. I am running P3D v 4.1. My video card is a Nvidia 1080 ti. My CPU is Intel 5960 16 Gigs of ram I would like a 3 monitor system if that is the way to go. I don't mind spending up to $1000.00 for the three monitors but if that is not enough for quality monitors I will go to $1200.00. Of course if two monitors will still give me a good gaming system, I would be happy. I would like to have at least 27" monitors. Tom Johnson

  7. Cajun Math Test A Cajun man wants a job, but the foreman won't hire him until he passes a little math test. Here is your first question, the foreman said. Without using numbers, represent the number 9. Without numbers? The Cajon says, "Dat easy"and proceeds to draw three trees.. What's this? the boss asks. Ave you got no brain? Tree and Tree and Tree make nine, the Cajun says. Fair enough, says the boss. Here is your second question. Use the same rules, but this time the number 99. The Cajon stares into space for a while, then picks up the picture that he had just draw

    PMDG 777

this is an update to my PMDG 777 problem I contacted PMDG as instructed yesterday morning and got a reply. I was surprised as it is Saturday. I quote: This issue is probably caused by an incorrect SimConnect runtime installation on your computer, follow these instructions to fix it: 1. Navigate to this folder : <P3D root folder>\redist\FSX-RTM\lib 2. Run the SimConnect.msi installer file inside the folder. 3. Repeat the process in the FSX-SP1\lib and the FSX-SP2-Xpack\lib folders. After doing this I was able to inter my code and fly that big bird. Take off w

    PMDG 777

Spent 125 dollars today on the PMDG 777 for Prepar3D Installed into Windows 7-64. Started Prepar3D and was expecting for it to ask for my code. The only thing that happened was the following: No gear, Blank panel. Had lots of engine noise, was able to take off with no flaps. Landed and of course it wrecked since I did not show and gear. Does anyone know why it would be running in restricted mode and will not let me put my code? Regards Tom Johnson

  15. Do I need to have the three monitors the same as far as size or make?
  16. Right now I have one BENQ 24" and an old SAMSUNG. I am ready to buy two more BENQ 24" as soon as I get some good info on what hardware I need to buy to connect all three BENQ's to my Video card. I have a Nvidia GTX 670 Video card that I can use to connect the SAMSUNG card to if I need it. I like to put the GPS and ATC on a different monitor. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have not done any over clocking yet. I use the default settings that ASUS suggested which gives me a CPU clock speed of 3.5 and the memory of 2130. I am new to over clocking, so I will be going very slow if at al

Also have a Logitech stick. Please suggest what you think is the best to buy for a pleasant experience. Also I am also looking for a club to join.
  18. If you use Windows 8.1 you might have to buy for $200.00 Prepar3d. I have Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 Pro on two SSD drives. Prepar3d is installed in Windows 8.1 and FSX is installed in Windows 7. Both are working very well without any problems. I tried for a month to run FSX using Windows 8.1. Had nothing but problems.
  19. After getting good advice from this forum, I bought the Prepar3d Pro. I am very glad at this point to have it. I ran a test using Windows 8.1 with all the updates of a four and one half hour flight with a Beech King air with just about all the slidders at max. and and an altuide of 4000 feet geting 35 to 45 FPS from Dodge City, Kansas to Springfield MO. to Rockford, ILL. with out any problems. Had 2% fuel on board when I landed. Went from Daylight to dark during the flight. Very happy about the product. I also had Orbxs Globel 110 and Vector v1.1 plus the updates plus Multi Crew Experience i
