Hawker Sea Fury T-20, Royal Navy seconded to Ferranti for trials work in the mid 50s. Even after consulting the FAA Museum historic department, very few photos of this aircraft exist by all accounts. The photo shows that the aircraft was virtually immaculate hence have given her a gloss finish. I'm pleased with the way she came out. The model is at 1/72 scale. My favourite all time movie, My youngest brother and I know most of the script by heart i've seen it so often. Brilliant. A lot of it was shot in Wells, Somerset with the inside of the big supermarket being filmed in an empty superstore in Hounslow....100 miles away. it's why in the film the shop looks tiny on the outside but huge on the inside.

Excellent stuff, I used to regularly meet some of the cargo pilots when I did aircrew work, most of them loved it as they could relax more when flying and not have to put on a public persona, One of them told me that where possible he would fly in tee shirt and shorts most of the time! Only donning the uniform just before touchdown!

Given the age of that aircraft you'd have thought that A, it would have been thoroughly checked before take off and B, been flown with flight crew only in case of something like this happening. I can imagine a lot of questions will need to be answered. In hindsight it might have been better to scrap her on site. I guess we'll find out eventually.

Great review, It looks good, but I'll wait until it appears in the sales in the future. I got caught like that before, paid a premium rate for the addon only to see it drastically reduced a few months down the line.
