Hi Guys, I'm currently doing a flight between Dubai (DXB/OMDB) and London Heathrow (LHR/EGLL). I haven't taken any 'real' shots for a long time, so I thought I may as well take a few! I will update this post with new shots this evening - when I land. My Progress - Click Here Pushing from B9, with an outside temperature of 40

Hi Guys, I decided to do a flight yesterday to test the performance of my machine (I am restoring to factory conditions today) and decided to fly something I don’t do very often, the beautiful PMDG Boeing 747-400. The flight was London Heathrow – San Francisco, some 5367 mi. Anyway, here are the shots…nothing spectacular, but constructive criticism is more than welcome. Have a fantastic New Year everyone! Cheers, Sam

Hi Guys, Since I had blue skies during departure at Manchester I never anticipated anything other than the same at Accerife, but I was wrong! A strong crosswind and thick cloud made the approach a fun and interesting experience. All shots are 800x400 apart from number 13! Cheers, Sam

Thanks Guys! Sounds good to me Joe! Maybe I could Mod it... :eyebrow: :eyebrow:

Afternoon all, I decided to go to Manchester this morning for an hour before heading over to T2 (Terminal 2) to meet my uncle before he headed back on EK017 to Dubai. The weather was sh*te as per usual…and it was the first chance I had to use my new Canon 40D with the 17-85mm IS Lens. Cheers, Sam

Your not wrong there Mr.Basil  The joys of having a 3mp Phone-camera though, I guess! I've just ordered the Canon 40D as well! :mrhappy:

I don't! I think the E195 doesn't even look air worthy!

How unusual, a new Russian plane that looks like Western aircraft already in service! http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1275361/L/ Looks nice, but sure about those engines!
-
They aren't Joe, which is a great shame, I found the livery/aircraft to look very simular to the Airbus A320 family. Espically the nose cone area. And...i've seen this girl in person! http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1259832/L/

Let's just hope it looks nothing like the pic in the BBC link! O well...nothing can look as bad as the Singapore A380 :rofl

Before you get the wrong idea, this post is in no way involving the two aircraft that British Airways have recently ordered. (The A380 & B787) It does in fact feature a small – nippy Brazilian aircraft that goes by the name, the Embraer 170. All though BA does not actually fly this aircraft I think it looks nice – it’s basically just the Airbus style. Anyway…here we are, Firstly in the hangar after the recent paintjob …and secondly on short final for runway 12L after a short test flight Cheers, Sam --Seeing is Believing--
