Hang on! We're getting morse code from the nav lights! Cookie if you know what I'm on about

I've still got an old Atari St in the loft. I wonder if a micro tax board will fit in it... Brings back memories, some classic games. Airbus a320, James pond, Sensible soccer, Elite, Carrier command, Hunter, Impossamole, Lotus turbo challenge... The list goes on! :icon_thumbup:

I used to enjoy annoying those F16's. I stopped after I caught the words "locked on" over the radio... :th_smiles73:

I've never heard the term anti-clockwise used. Its always counter-clockwise.

I am very happy about this :icon_thumbup: My local airport! Just needs an AI version of me bouncing down the runway in g-lfsr :wootmesalia: -
Great shots there. At least there are not many sections over water left now. I'm planning a big trip with the Royal Turbine and I'm currently seeing what sort of endurances I can get with auxiliary fuel tanks mounted in the cabin.

I have an old computer in the back room that is running Win95... think it'l work on that? It's got a 166mhz CPU! To be honest though 95% of all my web surfing is now done on an iPad, so the browser wars don't really bother me tbh. Anybody here remember Netscape navigator? :icon_rockon:

Sod the stout, get some 18yr old Jameson's down you!

A few air to air shots with both. Piston Duke was going at maximum continuous with Turbine Duke not even breaking a sweat... :wootmesalia:

Might have to buy this. I've got loads of fond memories of the old Dreamfleet Baron in FS9. Especially once it had the McLeland Special turbo conversion :wootmesalia: I just don't think I would be using this for a while with the release of RealAir's Royal turbine...

A few more Duke shots. I love this aeroplane! *Edit* I've just noticed that imageshack has been resizing my images to 800 pixels wide lol How did I not notice? :th_smiles73:

I have a 40" Samsung series 8 that is part of my home cinema system. A while ago I decided to hook the pc up to it as it was in the same room and since then I haven't used my pc monitor! I sit on a sofa with my feet up and a wireless keyboard, mouse and joystick, much more comfortable then an office chair. You've got to take in mind that the pixels are a lot larger but that's not an issue unless you sit really close, I wouldn't bother if you're going to stick it on a desk near your pc. Playing games on it like Dead Space 2 or Crysis is absolutely fantastic especially in the dark. I've got a de

What do you reckon lads? I know what one I'd go for

I'm currently blasting overhead the Wallasey VOR heading towards London City. Took off from Islay with the hold full of my favourite Bruichladdich :001_th_smiles89: I didn't even know RealAir was working on a Royal Turbine, I just randomly clicked on their website bookmark to see if there was any updates today and then bought it on the spot!

Funny enough a while ago Easyjet leased a couple of 757's from Astraeus and the first one into Liverpool JL was flown by the man himself! :icon_thumbup:

This is my B60 Duke. A fantastic aeroplane with twin 380hp turbocharged engines. Cruise speeds of up to 240kts TAS at up to 30,000 feet are easily achieved. With its cabin pressurisation system and excellent avionics she is a fantastic IFR tourer with a range of about 1100 miles. You've got to admit she is one of the best looking twins flying... There is a downside to all this performance and style... She drinks about 55 gallons an hour and the time between overhaul is only 1400hours. Ouch! :icon_yikes: Most Dukes don't even manage that before they give up. She is VERY expensive to run

Heh yeah you need hardly any TIM, just enough to fill the microscopic flaws in the HS and CPU.. I went round to look at a mate's PC to see why it was overheating. He had used an entire tube of TIM and it was basically insulating his CPU!

A very old FS9 shot dredged up out of my screenshot folder... -
The Duke is nice for these long cruises with it's pressurisation, good heaters and high TAS. Only thing that is a pain is the rate at which it goes through fuel... 50gph!!!
