Gorgeous last few legs. The Malibu and Duke were lovely legs. I have the MalibuTurbo, not the Duke. Glad you are enjoying the Metroliner. You showed it very very nicely.

LEG 26: Cagliari Elmas, LIEE - Alghero Fertilia, LIEA

Route: KOVAS M732 SODIO

Allowed altitude: FL100 to FL180 Inclusive

Notes: //

A small flight this morning, just 92NM, crossing Sardinia from south to north.

2016-2-14_7-47-19-401.BMP.jpg

Engines are started, radios are set for the assigned departure procedure:

2016-2-14_7-57-6-584.BMP.jpg

A rainy sunday morning:

2016-2-14_8-4-15-363.BMP.jpg

It's a short cruise, established at FL100:

2016-2-14_8-13-38-755.BMP.jpg

2016-2-14_8-16-42-384.BMP.jpg

2016-2-14_8-26-42-140.BMP.jpg

2016-2-14_8-36-8-724.BMP.jpg

Hands on approach ILS 20, wind is gusting and it takes some hard work to keep the aircraft centered. As you can see, fuel calculations have gone wrong for this flight, my fault!

2016-2-14_8-49-30-47.BMP.jpg

Time for a hot cappuccino:

2016-2-14_8-59-8-279.BMP.jpg

Thanks for watching, see you next flight!  :hat:

Ladies and gentlemen, the Queen of my turboprops hangar!
I'll fly this leg on a Napulevola Q-400. Napuevola is a certified IVAO virtual airline, the CEO is a good friend of mine, and you may guess where the main hub is!

Preparing the aircraft for flight, with proper weights as per flightsheet:

Given the TOW, we can set the speeds. We also set the radios for the SID:

Pushing back, right engine started:

Takeoff! We have a bit of crosswind and the Q-400 swings to le left:

2016-2-19_15-15-44-998.BMP.jpg

Following the SID we enjoy a nice view over north Sardinia island:

Now cruising at FL180 with a nice tailwind:

Time to calculate our TOD:

Checking the vital engine numbers:

2016-2-19_15-29-51-27.BMP.jpg

It's a nice and smooth cruise:

On final:

Nice flight, you probably flew over my favourite place, the islands of La Maddalena and the NE coast of Sardinia.  :thum:

@ Wain:  you do it simply by typing the text and inserting inside the BB code of images which you copy from FS Snaps or any other website where your images are uploaded.

Great Set and flight.

Wain. Some other ways:

I usually name the files I am going to use in a set the same+numbers...ie. Ilfer1 - Ilfer26 in my ATWC trip. That way when I copy the url into the post, I only copy the first URL, and then hit Return 2x...to make a couple spaces to work between, Paste, Return return, paste, return return...etc, etc....and then I start replacing the "1" in every URL to the next consecutive number in each URL I have pasted. Then I start either composing, or copy pasting, the story line in afterwards in between the image urls.

Another way. If you paste in All the URLS at one time...hit Preview Post, then click on any image in the Edit section...not the Preview Section, and hit Return return, and it will add a couple spaces between the it and the next image...lather rinse repeat.

I prefer planning/naming/option #1, as it makes edits much easier down the road.
