saitek throttle

Are you using FSUIPC?

If not, I thoroughly recommend it.

Then disable controllers in fsx settings and use fsuipc to map your tq.

Hi Ken and welcome.

 

I would echo Brian's wise words.   I use Saitek controls (yoke and pedals) and have found the Siatek management software sadly lacking.

 

FSUIPC is available from here :- http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html . It is probably one of the most useful add-ons I have ever bought.

Just to add my 10 cents' worth to Mutley's sound question:

You obviously have a Saitek yoke which is working ok, so is this throttle quadrant plugged into the USB socket/hub on the yoke base?

If so, you get to it after selecting "Saitek Yoke" for calibration etc.

if you had said you were using W8 I would have understood Try this  it might help, taken from a friend who gave it to me, his words. All fixed, with little thanks to Saitek. But it worked. FIrst, I had to disconnect the Saitek X52 (not X52 Pro). Uninstall any SST software you may have installed. Then, I had to go to the Hardware setting in Control Panel and delete the two entries. I then had to go tohttp://saitek.com/uk/down/drivers.php and download the drivers, and install them. Do NOT click on "Choose your product range" button, click on the "Choose your product type."

Then click on "Joysticks" and under "Select product" choose "X52", then (in my case) under "Select operating system", I chose "Windows 7/8 and Vista 64-bit".

NOW - choose to download the drivers and install them - remember that you disconnected your X52 - and plug it in when prompted. Then download the software, and install it. If you did it all right, everything should work.

Thanks guys for your replies. Problem solved, on set up panel,. button & keys, all events panel drop down, click on engines. now works ok. (what an idiot)
