mutley 4,498
Do you like it? I do, it's about time they got up to date. http://www.bbc.co.uk/home/beta/ I love the retro clock in the header, they use to use it in the eighties I think? Whilst I'm at it, I have been trying to get Mutley's updated but it is taking for ever. You may have noticed I have had a different sig for a couple of days, here is a preview of the beta Mutley's! I may get it finished one day :tattle: Cheers
allardjd 1,853
I LOVE it. (The BBCs is OK. The quivering second hand on the clock is interesting.) John
simi_av8r 0
loving the new look Joe, really nice. Some really great use of CSS sheets and layout, real nice!... maybe a bit of XML or JS could creep in here and there to bring it alive :tattle:

hello_basil 0
Looking good so far Mut! Do you work in the web design/graphics business by any chance? And is that CSS instead of X/HTML? :tattle: I've been doing a few websites myself, nothing as perfectley laid out like yours but I try my best! http://www.bromleyfencingclub.co.uk http://www.eaglefigures.co.uk And my new project: http://www.millenniumbooks.fsnet.co.uk If you need any help with updating the pages - just ask, I can always make time (most of the time ) for a great webmaster like yourself! Regards, Theo
mutley 4,498
Thanks for the feedback all. Yes it is CSS based so most of the pages should be more uniform. The existing Mutley's has a quite bit of JS, the menu system for example, but now I will be handling that with CSS too. There's plenty of scope to use other dynamic stuff but want to keep it simple where ever possible. Dai, if you are talking about the Dogs Trust link then it may be on the new site. Thanks for the offer Theo, I will bear it in mind :tattle: Cheers,

wisemanp 0
I love the new site Mutley! However, and i'm being really picky, in the second sentence on the homepage, it should say 'its' not 'it's' I can never get to grips with CSS so i commend you on that!
